Why flood damage is so costly
Water gets into the engine, the gearbox and the wiring. Even if the car starts after drying out, electrical faults can keep appearing for months. Repairs add up fast, which is why many owners sell instead.
Don't try to start it
If the car was under water, starting the engine can pull water into the cylinders and cause more damage. Leave it and send us photos, including the waterline inside the cabin if you can see it.
